DESCRIPTION: A large tilted surface painted with glow in the dark paint. Blinking Christmas lights will be continually thrown onto this surface by the artist and audience in the service of creating constellations.

George Andrews & Ted Pfaltz: Bios

George Andrews George Andrews has a BFA in Film and an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute. He paints in the dark, and teaches Art/Art History courses at PVCC and UVA (BIS). He has created site-specific installations at several locations including The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and The Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France.

Ted Pfaltz is a photographer and artist working mainly in mixed-media and installation art. Themes within his work include the exploration of the continuum of human artistic endeavor. His work combines modern digital photography, traditional painting methods as well as sprayed stencil, giving the effect of cave painting within a contemporary digital print. Ted is currently exhibiting at the Black Rock Gallery and has exhibited nationally and internationally.
