Bio: Allison Andrews received her MFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006 and has exhibited her work locally, nationally and abroad. She is the Founder of Renaissance Woman, LLC and served as the Director of Student Recruitment for VCU School of the Arts for 7 years. In 2000, she co-founded Urban Light Works, a non-profit public art organization with international reach. She served as an artist board member for 1708 Gallery from 2006 to 2009 and was as one of the chief architects of InLight Richmond for 1708 Gallery. She also co-chaired InLight in 2009, 2010, and 2011 with the primary responsibility of overseeing the exhibitions and logistics aspects of the event and serves as adjunct faculty for VCU School of the Arts’ Graphic Design Department.
