Shelby Fischer & José Lopez

Shelby Fischer and José Lopez have been collaborating for five years and their work has been featured in over a dozen solo and group exhibitions. Shelby and Jose create mixed media collage pieces and sculptures made from old wood and found objects. Jose is a master carpenter from Michoacan, Mexico who currently lives in Charlottesville with his wife and four children. Aside from her collage and installations, Shelby sews abstract art pieces from vintage kimono fabric. She is represented by Les Yeux du Monde Art Gallery in Charlottesville.
